: Spoilers/Air Induction Kits for Pro-Touring
MuscleInduction Apr 28th, 09, 06:02 PM Hi we love pro-touring and my husband and I have a 67 Camaro that is our product car. I don't know if it'll ever be done before he decides to sell it and get another Camaro(I think he wants a 69 next). He's always changing his mind and doing something different I kinda lost track . I just want to drive the one we got. He won't let me since he mini tubbed it, ya anyway, always some excuse.

keypilot Apr 28th, 09, 07:17 PM welcome to TC. nice looking product you have there.
AJSZR2326 Apr 29th, 09, 09:21 AM looks nice, i just dont like the flexable tubing, can you make the spoiler in carbon fiber?

When I made my ram air, I just modified a plastic reproduction spoiler (cut the intakes with a Dremel, epoxied in a piece of fiberglass screen, and riveted in 2 slightly modified Home depot register boots). The total cost was less than $40. All I need to finish it is a can of satin black plastic spray paint. I suppose the same could probably be done with an aftermarket carbon fiber unit.

MuscleInduction Apr 30th, 09, 04:10 PM We've been talking about carbon fiber lately, because the tubing is so expensive. It's so great to see so many different ram air styles(I don't think I've seen any of them look like each other) I guess it's just a matter of what you prefer right? I'll keep you all posted on the carbon fiber..thanks for looking......Marlo- the Muscle Induction Shop at Prospoilers Inc.
MuscleInduction Apr 30th, 09, 04:13 PM Denis, I like what you did! Awesome! :) Marlo
MuscleInduction Apr 30th, 09, 04:41 PM I don't have any experience with carbon fiber, but who knows, down the road, maybe..thanks Cole
Joe Harrison Apr 30th, 09, 10:33 PM Pics of what you have under the hood would be nice. I like the job on the 69, has it gained you anything power/performance wise or MPG?
Where did the air cleaner come from?

The air cleaner is from Spectre, purchased through Summit. There were a few modifications needed. See this post for more details: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=153267
As for any gains ... I really can't say. The engine only has about 50 miles on it, is still on the first tank of gas, and has never been driven hard. I doubt there would be any real noticeable gains, I just wanted something different and liked the way Oldsmobile did the factory ram air on the 442's.
Here is one more updated photo with some of the wiring cleaned up and the new valve covers.
