ST 69 12437 NOR269801BDY TR 711 029 65BPNT X11 mike brown Nov 25th, 99, 06:06 PM ST 69 12437 NOR269801BDY TR 711 029 65BPNT X11 1 - General Motors Division- 1=Chevrolet Motor Division 2 - Car Series- 2=Camaro 4- Engine- 4=8-cylinder (3=6-cylinder) 37 - Body Style- 37=coupe (67=convertible) 9 - Model Year- 9=1969 N - Assembly Plant- N=Norwood, Ohio (L=Los Angeles) 269801- Unit Number- This number started at 500,000 at both plants in 1969, so this was the ?69800th Camaro built at Norwood in 1969. In 1967 the Unit Number started at 100,000 and in '68 it started at 300,000. are you sure the first # is a 2? Cowl Tag: Interior Trim Code 711 - Black standard not sure about the 029, but there should be a build date code somewhere with 2 #'s and a letter. Body Color Code 65 - Olympic Gold B - Black vinyl top Exterior Trim Codes X11 - Style Trim Group (includes SS350)* *There is no specific X-code for the SS350. X11 could mean SS350 with Style Trim or base car with Style Trim. i'm sort of an amature at this you may want to check @ http://holisticpage.com/camaro/parts_fs.htm and look under Trim Tag or enter this under tag team @ team camaro. Dave Birdwell Nov 25th, 99, 07:23 PM The NOR269801 number is the Norwood body number assigned to that body by the Fisher Body plant. It helps track the car through the plant. This number will never match the VIN. The 029 is more likely 02D or similar, this is the body build date, February, and the letter denotes the week, A,B,C,D,E....1st thru 5th week. X11 code can be several different things, however, your car has one of two options...either the Z21 style trim group, or is a Z22 Rally Sport. Like mentioned, the car could also be an SS with one of the two above options, depending on the VIN of the car. Could you post the VIN?? |
