How can you go so far building a custom car like this one then leave the stock wiper motor with a splash some paint on it? I'm sure there is a few grand wrapped up in the Hollywood style video and photo production too!

All that detail and the wiper motor isn't hooked up...

Thats the first thing that i noticed. How can you spend so much money on a car, and you put a poor looking wiper motor in it. Its a nice looking car but come on now.

i noticed the wiper motor, too! then the ad says 7 speed wipers. what the??? did you notice that the area where the master cylinder was different in a couple pics? i guess they are running a completely all-in-one vintage air system, too?

and i agree. that is really cutting up a 1st gen. i hope it was a rust bucket, no options, 6 cylinder! looks nice and all. but i like sticking to stuff from that generation personally.

Wipper motor is classic. I also prefered it without the carbon fibre parts. Would have been nicer with a stock dash. I hope it is the original 6. Car is not worth the asking price. Perhaps if it was optioned acr with a V8. Pro touring guys might dig it?

I really respect most of the comments here,BUT this guy and his car did not ask to have it PICKED on. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. It always seems that if a debate come up there is never anything nice said. I thought we liked all Camaros? Before i write anything, i think of the guy at the cruise night or car show that walks up tells yoy what is wrong with your car... then rides off on his bike. The Camaro is not my cup of tea...but there is alot of hard work and thought involved. I don't like somethings about it,but its not my place to say. But you have to respect a 1000 horsepower Camaro. How mant guys here put on SIMPLE bolt on parts...that were not that simple at all? Think of the time that went into that car. We should look at the positive. Everyone have a great day. Wes:yes:

Wes I'm not big on bashing for sport and actually withheld any real personal opinions I have of the car. It's not on display at a car show and the asking price is reserve not met at $150k. If it were your car or even a local buddys I'd stand face to face with you as the owner/builder and tell you ya need to do something about the wiper motor because leaving a small detail like that is going to call to question "what else was left undone" and hurt potential sales opportunitys.

Any time you modify a car to the degree this one is you run the risk of narrowing the market because of personal taste. I'm sure everyone can acknowledge a lot of work went into the car in question. It doesn't mean you have to like the results. I like Camaros in general but don't like every Camaro I see.

Mixed reactions due to the Toyota motor on the lateral-g (13 page thread) and pro-touring forums.

I think this is one of the coolest cars I've seen in years. I have seen it on forums in the past. To pick this apart is silly.

Love the photography and videos in that listing for sure!

I totally disagree.

This is one shotty build! It reminds of something you would find at a used car lot. All spiffed up with new paint and interior however, the closer you look, the more bondo and hack you find.

It's junk

^^^ X2

There's another 'slight' annomally with that car ;)
The VIN given is " 123377W249393 "

Me would think there might be 'splainin' to do if/when it has to be inspected or reregistered sometime
I sure there's a good explanation :secret:

Oh, and - "Culture Shock" Camaro World's Most Famous Controversial Camaro Ever!"
I thought that was the term used to discribe the "Green Z" :D

Proclaiming your car as the MOST whatever tells a lot about the car without ever seeing it. I've studied picture after picture on this car and it was done poorly.
Take a look at the ebay ad again... how many pictures of the undercarriage are there? 0

He claims the car has tubular this and 4 link that but he doesn't have any pictures of it... why not?
Where are all the pictures of the fabrication? the sheet metal, brackets, fuel system, subframe and suspension, you know, the stuff that makes the car handle like a $200k car (LOL).
I wanna see the pictures of the car being built, not a bunch of close up photos of Japanese looking interior with digital gauges and a one off Japanese motor.

It's the attention to small details that makes or breaks a project. You all have seen the special projects built here and lateral-g.net, very few photos of the finished product but thousands of build pictures....IMO the owner threw in a supra motor, disc brakes interior and paint.
That's it.

Don't make this car something it's not.
