Hey guys I'm new to the body work thing. I finished welding 16g metal on my "smoothing the firewall" project and was wondering should I bondo over the fresh metal first or prime everything THEN bondo?...Thanks Jeoff J.

Do a search for more opinions but most would prime the bare metal with at least an etching primer...........

The jury is still out on this one but I would sand with 80 grit then etch it with a ep first.

Epoxy primer and/or be sure to used something waterproof like "All Metal" as first coat filler.
