I know this is Team Camaro, and I hang out here a lot, but I love the Chevelles too and I assume some of you do as well. I also thought I could pass some info to someone that may be looking for a reputable body shop in the Eau Claire, WI area.
Some day I'll tell the story of the "barn find" Camaro that led me to this site and helped me fund this car.
Anyway...
After a lot of thought, I decided to paint the tail panel on my car black. While it was in the body shop, I asked them to paint the grill extensions as well. They also repainted the center grill section so that everything would match. I couldn't be happier with the results. :D
The work was done at Autokraft in Eau Claire, WI. Kurt knows the right amount of gloss to do the job correctly and is a Chevy nut himself. He does everything from a small job like mine, to full rotisserie restos, to race car fabrication. He is highly recommended in my book.
Bright sun was great for cruising, but made for over exposed pictures. You get the idea.
