hey guys,
I have water leaking in the trunk. The two main spots is were water runs down the trunk lines and pretty much pours in from the tail lights.

I purchased a new seal kit for the tails lights. I was expecting the old gaskets to be dry rotted, missing, or torn. But I really couldn't tell that they were that bad...

Is there any trick to installing these things before I put the new ones on this week?

No Tricks...

Just be sure to get the old gaskets and glue, if they used any off before you put the new ones on.

There is a recent long thread descibing in detail all the places trunks leak, why and how to fix..
Also the seals for tail lights...I found the replacement seals after a while still caused issues, and so have others...instead I use tar impregnated foam sealing strips 17mm x 17mm.

Glue... I was wondering about using glue. What kind would you use for this?

Thin bead of silicone sear on the lights side of the gasket
