Hendrick Chevrolet Manager told me Saturday that the first 2500 Camaros did not pass quality inspection and are sitting in the lot. Most of these cars are ordered cars and will be fixed when the vendor corrects the problem. . .should be fixed on current production cars. He would not say why or what. Does anybody know what is going on with these cars? You can see them on the pictures of the 4 colors parked outside the plant.

I was told the wheels won't hold the weights used to balance them...

So the optional wheels do? I guess they forgot about the stick on weights we all used in the late 60's on aluminum wheels.

I also heard for a pretty good source that they are having issues with the power steering pump. This could also be the reason for the delay in the show rooms.

Man this would explain why so many pre-order people haven't received their cars yet but people who ordered later on already did. That sucks :(

The Camaro I saw last night had stick on weights on the inside. Also quite a bit of weights.
