The drivers door latch is starting to show its age,sometimes the latch falls down and blocks itself from grabbing the striker. I am going to order one from Ricks, are there anyother parts and pieces I should order? I was thinking maybe the little clips that hold the inside of the door on.
Are there any tricks or hints to installing one of these? If anyone has done this and would share there experiences I would sure like the help. Trevor

It is pretty straight forward. If the 3 screws holding the latch mechanism in the door won't come loose, tap on the phillips screwdriver top a few times to break the old age loose. Makew sure you understand how to disassemble the rods and reinstall the rods. You amy also consider new strikers as well.
