Can someone tell me approx. how much tranny fluid I need for m20. (quarts) And weight , 80w90 ??. Im trying to get her running to get to one of the camaro unveiling dealerships. They want old camaros at the unveiling so Im heading down there.

Just over 1 litre ( or US quart ) 80/90 Weight and DONT use Synthetic, the syncro rings dont work well with Synthetic, its too slippery. IMO.

Hey mike, Thanks for getting back to me so quick. so its only a little over a quart? seems like it would be more but ill get 2 quarts . Ithink you just fill it to the filler hole and then its full , correct?

I bought 1/2 gallon for mine, have filled it up twice, and have enough left for another oil change. One quart should give you plenty of lube. I used Sta-Lube by CRC from the local NAPA store.
