I just got my car back from the mechanic and I have to say that as of this minute I am pretty happy!!! The tranny seems to be doing great after the case and pretty much every other piece in there was replaced. Now I can see how the old tranny was just not right.

A huge thanks to Jody at Jody's Transmissions!!! You helped out tremendously. BTW, he ended up taking all the shims out after all.

As for the motor, it seems to be running pretty good so far and I will know better after driving it for a while. It does smoke just a tad but thats for another day. I just want to enjoy it for a little while before it goes into the body shop.
