i have tko 600 in my 70 camaro and the clutch fork moves about 3 in before engaging and pedal is way down near floor, i've adjusted the zbar but still doesnt fix problem, i think the ball stud and fork are not set up properly, is it possible to adjust without removing tranny or lakewood bell housing? any advice is welcome, thx

Needs to come apart. You may be able to get away with leaving the bellhousing on if it's already got an adjustable ball stud.

There is a possibility you could fix this with a adjustable throw out bearing from McCleod. Just make sure the adjustable ball stud is adjusted to allow full forward and rearward movement with no obstruction. If the TOB is that far back the Lakewood ball stud may not adjust far enough out.
I agree with Todd, the tranny will have to come out.
