Wondering if I can use a turbo 400 crossmember to mount a Nash 5speed trans?

Its a BB car, so it has the correct motor-frame mounts. Car was orig a 4 speed.

Thie 400 member would move the trans back a couple of inches if im not mistaken?, which you have to do with the DN 5 speed, anyone here done this or do i really have to make something to work correctly?

Ricks' has a 400 c-member for less than $60, so i can deal with that...if it will work!
Thanks. Dave.

The TH-400 crossmember for a Chevrolet actually moves the mount 1/2" to the passenger side and 3/4" FORWARD to the front of the car, from where a small block with a TH-400 would be.. If you use that mount, you will need to modify it ! This is still about 6" back from where a TH-350 would be.

Is it poss to turn the trans crossmember in the other direction and gain that way?

I thought the nash had the same mounting as the turbo 400?...i could be wrong, but im not going to mod my orig BB crossmember.

Guess i could get a turbo 400 crossmember and modifiy-weld the pad mount further back???

Thanks for the info!
