2 Row Aluminum Desert Cooler Radiator

Was wondering if anyone is using this radiator? How well will this perform for my big block? I do not plan on using for racing.

Any ideas?

I am using their 10906, which I assume is the one you're looking at (23 inch core width). I have a mild 396/402, no A/C, manual trans, OE style thermo clutch fan and this radiator has worked well here in the Philly area. Generally runs right around 195, up to 205 or so on really hot days. Big blocks seem to want to run just a little hotter, so it being slightly over 200 didn't surprise me. Engine only has around 600 miles on it, so it may drop some as things loosen up inside.

I liked it because it has contoured tanks like OE (not as exact as the Alumitech works of art, but close enough for me. I wanted the option to paint it black and have it look stock, although for now I left it "natural" (I did fog a little clear over it all, so that could also account for the over 200 temp, since they don't make clear radiator paint...).

The core is not quite a full 23 inch; I had to modify the bottom of the GM shroud a little.

Let me know if you have more questions. If you want pics, let me know what you'd like to see and I can shoot and post.

I pulled the trigger and made the purchase. They assure me that the 1" row design will meet or beat a harrison 4 core performance. This along with Eric's endorsement was all I needed. I thank Eric for is help, a very generous person with his time to help others. I am excited to receive it. One step closer to getting that big block purring.
