Anyone know a place in the L.A. area that can rebuild my 4 speed saginaw tranny? Is it worth rebuilding as oppse to buying a remanufactured one?

Unless it is numbers matching and you want to keep it, i'd think it'd be cheaper to find a different transmission. For what it would cost to have it rebuilt, I'd think you could find a good Muncie to stick in it. If it is numbers matching, you can always keep the Saginaw and stick a different transmission in it to drive.
