What's that Plymouth sitting in front of it? Everett#2390 May 12th, 09, 10:21 PM Interesting find. Yes, what about the Plymouth in front? 68rs406 May 12th, 09, 10:38 PM Interesting find. Yes, what about the Plymouth in front? X3, I was thinking the same thing :D Thats a really cool deal finding a car like that! But man seeing that thing reminds me why I bought a mustang in the late eighties, they were turds, sad to say. mccorry May 13th, 09, 07:55 AM Subscribe for later.... blocked here. Arch Stanton May 13th, 09, 09:08 AM Why does that scream "stolen long ago" to me? Whats up with the junkyard rims n tires? Eric Kammerer May 13th, 09, 10:30 AM Been discussed here several times. But man seeing that thing reminds me why I bought a mustang in the late eighties, they were turds, sad to say. the blue car in front is a 1970 Roadrunner! Having bought a new one in late '69, I know that body...:) a great car, especially with the 'hemi suspension' and 15" wheels with F-60/15 PolyglasGT tires (which were the best for that time)... :) I wish I still owned it.. *S* Eric Kammerer May 13th, 09, 02:43 PM Link no good. Must have expired today, because i made sure it still worked. Let me see if I can find it again. Eric Kammerer May 13th, 09, 02:52 PM Here's one of the old threads on it: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=152238&highlight=4.3+iroc SPARKY69 May 13th, 09, 02:53 PM yup, that worked also!! 69 z11 May 13th, 09, 04:09 PM Can't believe they didn't take $24,600 for it! 68rs406 May 13th, 09, 08:59 PM Not for nothing it's a very very cool find, but they will have to sit on that for quite some time before it's worth 25K imo. It's cool but FAR from a desirable version of the Camaro. Those things were slow as death and plagued with problems, really cheap build quality and structural integrity of a patato chip. I had a few friends that had new ones (one just like that actually) and they rattled like crazy and leaked like a sieve through the T tops, every one I rode in. Actually those Irocs made me look at the Mustang 5 liters, and eventually buy one. 68rs406 May 13th, 09, 09:00 PM " Interesting find. Yes, what about the Plymouth in front? Looks like a good move on their part, its sold http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130296237743 Anyways so long as no one drives it I think it will go up in value. It has some fans and its the ultimate time capsule. There must be very few camaros of any model year with 4.6 miles on it. It would cost more than that in todays dollars to buy that car, look at the sticker price. Sure its yesterdays technology but thats what people like. 68rs406 May 13th, 09, 09:23 PM Unbelievable, 26K! Well like you say it is the ultimate time capsule and some people I'm sure like the body style, but that seems like a premium price to me for that car, unless it was at Barrett Jackson getting bid up by cash drunk car collectors...;) I could be wrong though, it's happened before :D |
