Looks like the dealer here in Chico is going away. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know we had a Chrysler dealer here. Has anyone seen the GM hit list?

I don;t think it's a bad thing. Do we really need a Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Toyota, Honda, VW, etc... in every single town/city? I can think of 5 Dodge dealerships in a 50 mile range in my area and that's just off the top of my head. Now Ford dealers have dropped quite a bit already in my area and I think there are only 2 or 3 in that same 50 mile range, there used to be 5 up until about 6 months ago.

I think the remaining dealerships will be stronger, have better inventory of parts and cars on hand, along with better service. Time will tell.

Sure why not? Now "The Dealer" may not be so willing to deal on a new car if his same car brand competition is now limited.

There will still be dealers to compete against. If he doesn't want to deal you go someplace else. They are not eliminating that many dealers. It might be different in your area but, in my area there are way too many dealers.
