That' pretty amazing. At first I thought "more than physics...what?" :D

my dad says he was batting once and the ball hit the catchers mitt and bounced out by his feet, so he casually picked it up to hand it to the umpire. Then he noticed the pitcher had nailed a tack into the ball and cut off the tacks head. He says the pitcher was using it to get leverage by pushing his forefinger against the tack! guess some guys will do anything with pro scouts in the stands. (this was semi-pro ball). Very cool video. there's a show on Discovery channel (I think) that shows this kind of stuff all the time.
