I have a '69 camaro that I would like to put in a set of 15x8 corvette rally wheels on the rear. I know that the rear end I have in it won't (is a 10 bolt rearend) work so I got a 12 bolt rear end from the junk yard from an impala and I want to shorten it so I can install these 15x8 wheels. Has anyone done this I need some pictures and also I would like to install disk brakes, so does anyone know the width it should be.
Also I would like to know If I can move the rear shock absorber to the other side of the leaf spring away from the wheel.

I've seen guys run 15x8 Corvette Rally's on the back of a 1969 Camaro w/ a 10 bolt all day. My first 1969 'Maro had a 10 bolt open rear end w/ a 3:08 gear.... Are you replacing the 10 bolt because it's an open rear end and/or would like something with more strength??

You can cut it down to your same length..you wont have any issuse's with your wheels..

15x8 ralleys ought to fit, unless you've got a set with some weird, non stock back spacing. Why won't they fit your 10 bolt?

The wheels fit on the axels but the tires rub on the wheel well I don't want to lift the rear of the car I want it low.
