Ok, Florida guys, I saw a Florida liscense plate today and saw "My Florida.com" on the top. I know "Oklahoma is OK" is kinda lame too, but

I really like my "validated" plate - its a unregistered - mint condition 1969 plate that is period correct for 1969 vehicle. The state allows you to re-register the '69 tag for a '69 vehicle - Back in the days when the plate simply said "Sunshine State":yes:

Rather bored are we? What do you care what is on a FL plate? Did you follow the link? www.myflorida.com JMO, it's a good way for local residences to learn where to go online to get state info... OMG it says "California" on the plates in CA, isn't that silly, doesn't everyone know where they live?

My point? Why post something that is bound to tick someone from OK or FL off?

Dennis: relax... this was all done in fun. 2 Florida guys have commented and no one is upset. As far as "Oklahoma is OK"... I'm from there and it's a running joke about the plates.

Mark - I'm not uptight about this but I do get e-mail and pm's when others are offended and they don't wish to start something in the forums. I have been around here a long time and have learned it's stupid little jokes like this that offend some people because they didn't know it was a joke. My suggestion is let folks know you are joking and add a smilie face or two! Nobody can read "joke" in comments like "this is pretty lame".
