Hello Everyone. I'm as you all can say NEWBIE here. I became a Very Proud owner of a 69 Camaro Hardtop on the 26th of April. I'm slowing trying to build her back to her glory self. I have been noticing different thing with this car that I've never came across before. For one thing the car was painted black over the Orinal paint. Made me mad til I found out what color it is plus the car has Blue interior. The Paint is which I still can't believe is Cortez Silver Code #69/69. The interior code number is 715. Of all the '69 Camaro's that I have seen that was Cortez Silver HAD Black Interior. Can ANYBODY Tell me How RARE is these two Combo's together. Plus the Guy that I bought the car from bought it from a guy who Drag Raced it so it has Big Block front coil springs. I'm going to pull out the 350 (since its a Truck 350 out of a 1970 Chevy truck and sorry engine going to lil sis since she called it once I got the car). I'm in the middle of tearing down a BBC 454 to turn into a 427 since I want to play and show (to me) a rare paint/interior combo '69 Camaro. I'm slowly getting the parts due to funds for me to get them. But I'm hoping to have more pictures of the car as I build and put her back together in the near future.
