I have a valve located on the middle bottom of the car connecting the two piece front to rear brake line. Is this valve adjustable? There seem to be a bolt that could be turned.
I'm currently converting to LS1 front and LT1 rear. I have a disc/disc MC. Do I still need to get a proportioning valve or will the correction valve do the trick? Looks like Summit has a prop valve for $35 if I need one.

That valve you are talking about isn't adjustable. That isn't a bolt you are seeing, it's a plug that holds the guts in. I'd think you could leave it on there, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in.

I believe that the LS1 front and LT1 rear brake gives you a 73/27 front/rear brake ratio. Ideal for our cars is 70/30. You wouldn't want to reduce the rear brake any so a proportioning valve isn't needed.

Thanks X33D80. I just took the car around the block today and it feels pretty good. Of course, I don't think I can tell if the front or back is locking up first anyway. LOL.
The brake project is done and it cost a pretty penny with all the tools and stuff I had to buy. Pretty fun project though. Anyone around the bay area doing the same project let me know. I could probably help in the tools department. Also have extra metric bolts. Shipping cost $11 min so I bought some extra bolts. Didn't make sense to pay $11 shipping for $4 worth of bolts.
