Engine Displacement, and Compression ratio?

I would guess your in the 325HP and 350Ft-Lb range with the peak HP at about 4700 rpm, and peak torque around 4500.

Lot like my old configuration:
350 ci
Rochested 4bbl
Edelbrock Performer intake
9.72:1 4 eyebrow flat top pistons
stock 186 2.02/1.60 heads
L79 327/350HP cam .447 lift, 222 duration
Stock exhaust manifolds
Chambered exhaust.
3.07 rear 2400 rpm stall

Hated it, wouldn't idle without choking you, Vacuum at idle was about 12-13" with a lope. No bottom end, woke up around 2500 RPM.

Now it's 10.8:1 (+.125" domes) with a GM Hot LT-4 Roller Cam, everything else is the same. Much different running beast, alot more bottom end, nice steady idle at 700 RPM with 15" Vacuum (still think I have an internal vacuum leak in the carb) Nowhere near the rich idle smell and a whole lot more bottom end grunt. Peak HP and Torque (By DD2000) are around 375 HP and 440 Ft-Lbs) even through exhaust manifolds. Peak torque happens right at my normal highway RPMs around 3200 (@70mph)and stays above 400 ft lbs from 2000 to 4500 RPM. I don't think it is making these numbers in real life because of tuning issues, but it's making a bunch more than it used to.

The L79 cam is a manual cam, not well suited for an automatic trans and highway gears unless it's a lot looser than 2400 RPM stall.

Quick run thru DD2000

RPM HP Torque
2000 139 365
2500 182 382
3000 223 390
3500 265 397
4000 301 395
4500 327 381
5000 335 352
5500 318 304
6000 288 252

I assumed 350 ci and 9.72 compression. I wasn't that far off. These are flywheel ratings.
