The power steering converstion threads have been beat to death, but if you are converting from manual to PS on a BB this should help someone..

1969 RS/SS 396 with TKO-500

After reading all the previous threads I decided to go with the AGR variable ratio box PN 292317 from Summit - From Rockauto the Delco PS pump (PN 36-516120), Edelmann return line (PN 70551) and an Edelmann pressure line for an early Nova (PN 70270) - this hose has male fittings on both ends and works really well - even with headers.

In lieu of stock brackets I upgraded to a March Serpentine conversion - in black (March PN 23050-08). I had to test fit the PS pump a few times, add washers, etc, but it all lined up.

I also learned its critical that you have the correct frame mounts, motor mounts and tranny cross member for correct header clearance at the PS box. I swapped in a set of Energy Suspension (tall & narrow) mounts on stock frame mounts... and found out the Kiesler TKO cross member I have does not have the proper offset for a big block. Classic Motorsport TKO BB kit does have the proper offset to the passenger side.
(thanks to Jeff at Classic for the help!)

I also ended up with Hooker 2457 headers - they are tight at the box, but not hitting - for additional clearance I slid a few washers between the motor mount and block - clearance now is good, about 3/8".

The different from the stock manual steering box to the AGR power steering unit is huge - good road feel - not too light.
Next up - alignment:beers:

This post is almost identical to the work I'm doing right now. I used Hooker 2457's with same motor mt's, stands, crossmember and will add the same small spacer for just a little more clearance. So far everything is working out great. I have a tight ratio saginaw pump and will look into the setup you've got. It looks awesome.

My 2 cents. I had to put stainless steel heat rap around brake lines because of heat from headers. My front driver side caliper froze up on me. Just looking at your pics reminded me of this.
