After a month and a half of wrenching, waiting on parts, posting and researching questions here on Team Camaro I am very happy to say my '69 is back on the road. With the new ZZ4, original Muncie 4spd, and added power steering the car is truly a blast and joy to drive. I have owned 34 other cars, 3 other '69 Camaros, and this is by far the most fun to drive either around town or on the highway. While I was doing everything I also added some other goodies, the highlight being the Z28 finned aluminum valve covers that a friend of mine powder coated and with the Trick Flow adapters bolted right up to the alum. L98 heads. I still have some cleaning and detailing to do under the hood but that will come in due time soon. With the old car season getting in to full swing here I will be taking her out on many cruises, get togethers, and shows. Thank you to everyone here on the boards for helping me and answering my questions when I had them.

How many upper radiator hoses were sampled before finding the correct one?

A total of 3, an original '69 upper hose, a '92 Z28 hose, and a '90 Chevy truck hose. I used the truck hose and had to cut off about an inch off the end that goes to the thermostat housing.

I don't have the number but I got it at Oreilly Auto Parts, it was $17. I picked it because the trucks use the same serpentine setup that came with the ZZ4 so I figured it would have to work one way or another.
