I am bolting a set of L31 Vortec heads on a 69 350. I would like to use finned Z/28 valve covers with center bolt adapters. With the adapter and gaskets there is about 5/8" increase in height of the valve cover. What I don't know is how close the left cover is to the brake booster. I haven't had an engine in the car for so long I can't visualize it. I will have factory A/C also, so I can't even begin to imagine how close that will be!

Has anyone running Vortec heads with valve cover adapters in a 69 Camaro had clearance issues?

Nobody runnin' Vortec heads with cover adapters on their 69??? How about alternator and AC compressor clearance??....Jb
