Anyone know where to find one? Also does anyone have pictures of under the dash how and where it's hooked up?

Thanks

The '69 AIM shows an extension piece that is held in place by the pin that holds the brake pedal assembly and clevis together. The extension is sandwiched inside the clevis with the pedal assembly and the spring hooks to it and pulls away from the firewall.

The AIM page showing the spring is for the base manual drum brakes. There is no page for manual disc's so when I went from power to manual brakes I found my pedal returns fine without the spring, the pedal assembly isn't heavy enough to apply the disc brakes and the brake light switch works properly as well.

With all the brake conversions done by the folks here I'd put a parts wanted in the classifieds for the spring and the extension if I were looking for them.

That helps alot. I see in the pic theres a extention piece that the spring connects to. Where can I find that? Man, I thought this would be easy!

Thank you. I just ordered one. Looks like I'm going to have to fab up the little tab that the spring connects to on the pedal though.

Are you opposed to placing a wanted ad in the classifieds? There is an extra hole in the pedal assembly you could hook the spring in as well...

No sorry. I was looking for a diagram also and figure I'd ask where to get one also. I figured it all out now. Thanks.
