hey guys, i just replaced the front outer tie rod on my car (4th gen camaro) and i have a quick question

when i was replacing the tie rod, the inner tie rod was accidentally spun when i was trying to get the outer tie rod off, is this ok, or will it mess my alignment up?

im not sure if the inner tie rod can spin freely, or if i accidentally unscrewed something inside of the boot, it spun very easily which leads me to believe im ok, but i would like to make sure first

Rack and pinion steering inner tie rods will spin in the socket with out affecting the alignment and typically are staked to prevent loosening.
