: Installing a 1" Carb Spacer

ok my buddy wants to install a 1" carburetor spacer he bought today. we have no clue how to do it. we have an idea but we were wanting to know if any of you guys have dont it and could give a detailed description on how to do. its a 1977 Chevy Camaro with a 350 bored 60 over and a 4 barrel edelbrock carb.:confused:

Easy job, take off the 4 nuts keeping the carb bolted to the intake off, take carb off, take the studs out, install longer studs, put carb back on, install the 4 nuts, done.

ok im not sure the last time this carb was removed from this engine is there anything i need to be worried about when i install this spacer?

just take off carb and studs and install longer studs put a gasket under spacer and a gasket on top of spacer and then install carb and fuel lines ect..easy job.1/2 hour or so
