looking for the distance between the header mounting flange on the cylinder head of a small block to the closest point on the steering column measuring from cyl #7 exhaust port....looking for the measurement on both first and second gen cars. thanks.

2nd gen is 4" from the installed header flange to closest part of column, measuring from #7 port.

Sorry my car is in storage for the winter, just make sure you have a good blow torch and a hammer and punch to gain the clearance you need .
