Put my brothers 350 with flat top pistions and a mild Extreme energy cam together.We installed vortec heads and was wondering what plugs we should run.I would like to stick with a AC plug number.I understand that comp ratio detemines plug heat range.

You'll need to tell us what year the heads are for a plug recommendation, and a little more info. Compression ratio, carburation, etc. The year is important because there were two styles of plugs. The early smallblock had a gasket seat plug (13/16 socket size) and the later ones were taper seat(5/8 socket size, also known as the "peanut plug"). Post the info and I'll see if I can help. Kelly
