Looks like the first case of stolen wheels from a new Camaro - this 1LT CTF car was minding it's own business in a nice suburb of Detroit when bam - no more shoes!
They were just the 18 inchers to, not even the nice SS wheels.

Ouch that hurts! Anyone know where you can buy 4 keyed lock nuts to prevent this for the new 2010 Camaro?

I have one on order and do not want to be this situation...

thanks

Wheel locks are no real threat to those who really want your wheels, they may deter the random attempt however.

Don't they come with locks? Heck, my Avalanche had locks from the factory!

Well now all I have to do is buy spacers to the back space right on my 67. I thought about taking the brakes too but did not have jack stands. :p;)

Locking lugz do absolutley nothing to prevent the theft. They are so freaking easy to get off its ridiculous. I have it down to a art. No thief I just have a kit that removes them lol. Sears sells them in a kit for 15 bucks by craftsman, sold anywhere.

I think a shot gun might help. This pains me to see and is very wrong what is going on in the world.I am ordering one this week and would be in jail for life if I found them in the process of this....If the owner is a TC member this thread may upset them to see.....

In Texas you can legally shoot them. You would go to jail in Maryland?

Born and raised in a suburb or Detriot. Had my 72 Mach 1 stolen and my 69 Z broke into several times. Thats why I left that place. Don't miss it at all.

man those rotors are small..

From Edmunds:

The SS carries sizable 14-inch brake rotors front and rear as well as Brembo four-piston aluminum calipers. The V6 cars carry 12.6-inch vented front rotors and 12.4-inch vented rear rotors with single-piston calipers. Since the Camaro's curb weight begins at an estimated 3,737 pounds for V6 models and then climbs to just 3,900 pounds for the SS, Oppenheiser is predicting class-leading braking performance
