I finally have mine working on my 68!! I hear a slight hiss near the light switch. Is this normal or do I have a leak somewhere?

if the hoses are original, replace them all. They get cracked with age. I replaced all mine and they work great. :)

Hoses are all new. It works fine. It just hisses near the light switch.

Try this. I do this on ALL my vacuum connections. Try using small zip ties on the connections. They don't take up much space and are great to seal the hoses.

Yikes! All mine are original and work great. The ones in front of the radiator support even survived my melt-down three weeks ago. AND,,, the system holds vacuum for at least 20 minutes after a drag run. Tried it last weekend.:hurray:
