I'm in the process of restoring my '67 ragtop. I would like to repair the original steering wheel, but was wondering what type or brand of epoxy to use after the cuts are made. Any recommendations or help would be appreciated from the experts. Thanks!!

Go to the POR-15 website the sell a kit for this. I am not sure if the kit is on the site. The kit is in their catolog which is free.

Eastwood also has a product for repairing steering wheels. It's in their catalog and the catalog is free as well.

I placed the epoxy, sanded the contours and then installed a special order "Wheelskins" leather cover, it looks really nice. The only problem was, the sewing process took me more than an hour. Better use some leather gloves to pull the string...
