A friend of mine had a bad shop restore his 69,we got the motor running pretty good,I'm not a pro by any means,are next thing is the intiror thay sold off all his original parts and put in repo junk,the seat sit so close that you caint read the speedo when driveing,and the shifter we tried to adjust but goy nowere fast,with this shiffter their not even a notch for drive,were looking for a shiffter,looks like a horeshoe(sorry I doint know the tech name) any help would be much apperacited

You might want to get some catalogs from Ricks First Gen, Classic Industries, or National Parts Depot (lots of others too) and look into getting a new shifter along with any other parts you might need rather than taking a chance by buying some junk and still not getting what you are after.
