Does the under the dash wiring harness(new) from American Autowire fit the GM original harness under the hood. I rewired under the dash but didn't install new under the hood yet and want to move the car. thanks??

Call AAW (use dial by name and plug in B-O-C-K to get Donny Bock) and ask. I saw you ask this before, and I don't think anyone really knows because they haven't tried it. The only other thing you could do is use the detailed schematics in the Electrical Forum (I think you need to PM JimM for a password) and look at the listing of all the terminals in the OE bulkhead connectors for both harnesses, and compare to the diagram in the AAW Update instructions.

Ya know, as many Classic Updates as I have done (Doing 3 right now) I have to say I never compared the pin outs to see if they were indeed the same as the factory ones. Physically I would think they will fit, but are the pin outs the same? I dunno. I might try to compare if I have a old front harness around as I have a Classic Update installed and the front harness unpluged.

I found out the answer. AA factory fit you can but with my classic update series you can't. In fact I may have shorted something
