Melrose Headers http://www.melroseheaders.com is looking for a new Camaro for header exhaust development. Car owner will receive full system for free. Car will be trailered (enclosed) to Howe Racing in Beaverton MI where factory system will be removed for header design. If concern is a factor we have plenty of references in the Corvette Idustry. The last car we used was a customers new Z06.
Car will be needed for 2-3 days and factory system will be reinstalled and returned to owner. It will take 4-6 weeks to get a proper jigs built and get first sets of headers and systems in the door. We are negotiable with reinstall of system. We can install, or help owner install. We may also be negotiable for computer tune or dynotune.

Why us-
We concentrate on specific makes and models which allows us to concentrate on fitment and quality. We don't mass produce junk to cover mass markets.
Ceramic coated mild steel keeps safety at factory level.
Mild steel eliminates weld cracking risk seen frequently with stainless headers
Thicker wall primary tubes reduce exhaust charge pings heard often in stainless and tradititional run of the mill Hooker type headers.
Bolt on systems- no grinding, cutting, welding, denting
Lifetime warranty on headers.
Slip fit joints with stainless strap clamps eliminates fumbling of "old school" 3 bolt flanges w/ gaskets.
100% USA made
Bottom line are sytems hang with the best on the track and they are of the safest and best fitting on the market
Here is our C6 Z06 Corvette system-

Nice offer by melrose. Why not give the owner the first set of prototype system for the use of the car to measure?

I don't quite understand your question. We are giving the owner the first completed system, but we need the car to design the prototype.
