was tinted glass available in a 69 396/375hp car or a/c cars only?thanks to all.....

Tinted glass RPO A01 avalible on any 69 Camaro

I believe I have read somewhere in one of those Camaro books, that when a/ the car was ordered with the factory air conditioning system, it was also built WITH the tinted glass ... However, I would also have to believe that any car could have also been ordered WITH the tinted glass as well as an owner's build option (I am not jerry mc I just read it somewhere) ...
So I would say, "If your car came with or has A/C, it should have the tinted glass as well" ...

If tinted was ticked as an opition, An a/c car had tinted windows with bronze strip at the top, non a/c had blueish tint strip at the top
The bronze is no longer avalible ..doesnt matter if the replacement glas is made in USA, mexico, canada, china, europe or Sth Africa...

My car is a 67 w/out AC and had tinted windshield. I need to replace the windshield and notice the tinted windshilds are a little cheaper then the clear. Why is that, you would think the clear would be cheaper?

Probably all about economics, supply and demand ... Someone could have had the windshield replaced and used the tinted one instead of the Clear one ... I do not know about the 1967's I am quoting the 1969's regarding the useage of the tinted windows and the A/C option...
