Depends on your plating guy, they can go up to $125. Haven't seen any chrome ones in my catalogs yet. Here's a picture of the finished product: http://67camaro.virtualave.net/P1010018.JPG ------------------ Jeff Bradway - my resto page: http://67camaro.virtualave.net Dobek Apr 29th, 00, 05:51 PM After looking for some time - I was about a week away from sending my painted covers to a plating shop - - then found an original pair on E-Bay. Cost over $100 - - I did this for two reasons - I wanted original - and I wanted to sell the painted ones with the original 327 their on. Pix of the plated ones look great - don't know if you could tell them apart from originals. So - $85 to buy & plate - or $100 for originals - - - Probably a whole bunch of people willing to sell their's now for $100 - - but when I was looking to buy - just plain couldn't find ANY. Steve jbradway Apr 30th, 00, 09:27 AM Hi Dobek, I see you are in my neighborhood. I got the painted ones at a swap meet at Consumnes River College last year and found quite a few script style painted covers. I was at the American River College today and saw very little. Most of the chrome shops in our area wanted $125 and up to do my covers and the one I found for $75 seemed to work. Not sure how long he will be around. ------------------ Jeff Bradway - my resto page: http://67camaro.virtualave.net ragtopman Apr 30th, 00, 11:20 AM There is a guy in Mays Hemmings that has some for sale, $75.00. Hes in Mass. Rob.Canada May 1st, 00, 05:44 AM Hey 67 Keep trying, try the swap meets etc. This coming weekend there are two events that you might want to consider, Both are east of Toronto, Stirling flea market, north of Trenton is always packed with lots of good stuff, also I hear there is a swap meet car show this weekend in Orono, north of Bowmanville, Check them out and ask around, a lot of guys keep the good stuff at home, and are willing to deal outside of the swap meet. Good Luck, 67RSSS May 1st, 00, 08:46 PM <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by Rob.Canada: Hey 67 Keep trying, try the swap meets etc.
