I have read a few posts here about different heater cores not fitting properly....has anyone tried this one from Rick's and if it will fit properly?

Or this one from Year One?

I got 2 from Ricks for small block with air conditioning and neither would fit. The tubes coming out of the heater core were spaced apart wrong. Did not line up with the holes in the firewall.

hey steve...i justed logged on to ask the same questions that you did...great minds must think alike. I noticed the passenger side of my 68 (non-air) is soaking wet w/antifreeze. Not too big of a deal because I'm getting ready to replace the carpet in the next month or so. Hopefully we'll get some guys/girls to chime in with their expertise.

Fortunately mine is not leaking into the interior....it is leaking out the corner of the heater box on the firewall. I am going to take it apart this weekend to actually see if it is the heater core, may just be a brazing leak...
