I was wondering about the cancelation rumors i am hearing about this model. Any truth????????????????

From what I understand there was never any plan to build a Z28 in 2010. The 2011 was the first year I thought it would be out and again I read last week that it was killed off by GM. The article also said that everything was already in place to build the car, but it will not happen.

I believe it was in one of the car publications out this month, the one with the "10 things you probably don't know about the new Camaro" article.

You are correct sir! That would be Popular Hot Rodding, May issue. It has the Orange Trans Am, Blue Mustang and Yellow Challenger on cover.

So what about the convertible?

GM was planning for a Z28 type model, that is currently shelved.
Convertible is still on target as a 2011.

Motor Trend had that article a couple on months back. All designed, but may not see production.
