I have a 68 Camaro with the RS hide-away headlights and thinking about changing up a little. Can you buy a grill like this or is it custom made?
Thanks, Dion

I've never seen a grill like that before. So, my guess is its a one-off.

That looks like the cheap mesh that people make some eBay grills from. You can buy it by the sheet/roll. They usually use it to screen the back sides of original grills for a custom look. You just cut it to size and use some electrical cabinet edging or chrome trim edging and then figure out how to mount it.

I have a much higher quality polished stainless "Bentley" mesh behind the factory grill on my Durango. It came from an actual company though and was cut to fit after removing the black plastic inserts and the screwed to the back side of the grill. You've probably seen some 300's cruising around with the entire grill made out of it.

Search ebay and you can probably find mesh by the sheet.

Agree with Steiner, it looks to be made from wire mesh. If you go this route, or any route with a RS car, it will look much better IMO with the radiator core support painted black rather than the body color.

That's what I did on the Durango....blacked out everything behind the grill.

You can find the Billet grill in google Billet Grills and you will find that, from what it says it goes over your current frill and that you have to modify it slightly
