I got a 97 camaro ss 30 anniversary with the lt4 conversion kit Heads, cam, intake. Im currently running it with the lt1 stock comp program. Was wondering if anyone knew if this would dramatically effect the performance? Cars specs are rated from edelbrock at 406 and I just dont feel it.

If you installed all that stuff and did not tune for it, then yeah, you're not going to be impressed.

If you have a local tuner that knows LT1's, use them and pay the money to have it dyno tuned.

The next best thing would be to go to pcmforless.com and email their LT1 guy. It think Brian may handle them. You can buy a salvaged ECM off ebay for maybe $30 and send it to them with all your mods and they can tune it and have it back to you within a week. Then you can keep your stock ECM as a spare. That's what I did. They also do an exchange service where they will send you a temporary ECM to run while they have your original one if you want to do that. I am very happy with the tune Brian did for my S10.
