I recently purchased a fold down rear seat, and I was told it came out of a 67 Camaro. However, the seat back carpet I ordered does not line up, and I'm not sure about the latching system. I'm installing this in my 67, which originally had deluxe interior w/ non-folding rear seat. I've taken a few pics and I'm hoping someone can tell me if this is out of a 67,68, or 69? I really don't care what year it is, because I know it will work either way. I just need to know so I can order the right parts to install everything. Thanks in advance!

I installed one and love it. I use it all the time when going to shows or the store to pick up things. The holes for the rubber bumper where pre drilled in my car. You will have to take off your top seat holders (3). Looks like you may need to find the chrome outer clips if you don't have them. 67 had not latch like you have. 68/69 did. I like the fact that i can un due seat from either side of car.

So they're out of a 68'. I guess I have a few things I need to send back then. Oh well, I should've asked this question before I started ordering. Oh well. At least now I know, and from what I've read, I think I'd rather have the 68' or 69' set up. Sounds like they latch a little better than the 67's did. Good deal, thanks again!

Went out into the garage and looked at the bottom of my 67 fold down seat and it has the hump just like the pic of the carpet you show. The 68 is very different. more rounded.
