Hey paint gurus! I need a little help here. I recently had my car sprayed with FeatherFill G2 and will have to save a little more coin before I can get some color on it. In the mean time, I think I can rake up enough to get the Hotrod Black kit from SEM that I'd like to paint my engine bay with. Does anyone know if these two products are compatible? Any problems with adhesion or anything I should look at before I get it sprayed? I searched the forum but didn't find anything on the subject. Thanks guys. This forum rocks!

G2 is a polyesther primer. I would suggest prmering over it with a reagular primer (epoxy, or urathane) before you top coat it. Or you could just use a sealer. Polyesther will absorb your top coat. You can end up with dull spots if the whole panel isn't covered with G2. It is a sanding and filling primer.
I'm no guru so other might have different advice. This is just what I would do.
As far as SEM what type of material are we talking? (urathane, enamel, laquer, etc..).

There is an ad over at Pro-Touring for some Sem HotRod Black it has the #HRO 10 in the picture. Its Garage Sale posted on 6-7-09 the seller is NvrDun71. Never used it so I can't help with your question.
