I hope this is in the right forum. I thought about the Brake and Suspension forum. Are all columns standard in size, ie. the lower column shaft? I have play in my steering wheel and upon investigation, the column to firewall plate is there but the bolts are missing to the firewall and to the clamp for the column. It appears that once I tighten the clamp, there will still be some play with the column. Can someone measure the diameter of the lower column, or are they a standard size? I saw a Flaming River that was 2". Thanks.
