I have a 1969 Z-28 Camaro. I had the body shop that did the body work shot the new floor pans and the rest of the underside with DP-90 it is a epoxy primer that is just about bullet proff. The color I used is a semi gloss black and it looks GREAT.

DP 90 and the paint of choice will be as good as you can do it. I've used a few different kinds of epoxy's and DP, to me, is the best. Easy to spray and has a seven day window to top coat.
I top coated with upol gravitex on the bottom only (not the fender wells) and then SEM hot rod black over the gravitex. I decided to paint the fenderwells hot rod black with no texture. I only used the gravitex to give it some durability against rock chips in the future, considering the 500 miles a year I'll drive it.....

I Raptor coat the bottom of the cars we do. Very durable and can be tinted to match if desired. looks 10x better than Shutz and is much easier to clean if needed

Hello,
After the Raptor is sprayed, what is the final finish? Hard or ply-able?
Are there any concerns with the exhaust pipes being so close?

SteveIt is a hard textured finish, semi-gloss to medium gloss. Have had no issues with exhuast yet.

If you don't drive in the rain you've already won the battle. Just shoot it with any old primer that pulls your chain. Here's original factory paint. I took this picture two years ago.
