$75 for the pair. Center caps and rings were on my other rears... and they popped right on.

Question: How much inside tire clearance is enough?

It clears everything by a 1/2 inch or more... closest fit is on the inside of the wheel well.

Should I "massage" it a little bit more... or is that enough?

And what should the inflation be set at?

Hopefully, this time around won't quite be the disaster of 2 weeks ago.

1/2" is close... but ok.
15-18psi is said to work good.

1/2" is going to be real close at the front and rear wheel openings. The inside should be fine the tire will not get any wider. Check the tire for rub marks (lines) in the tread area after a pass. The first time I ran my hot rod my buddy met me at the trailer with a piece of my wheel well moulding. I run 11psi in mine but the most you can run and still hook is the best recommendation.

Thanks for all the info, guys... since it was rained out, I'm aiming at this Friday. Forecast now is 73 and partly cloudy. Of course, that all depends on which goat the weather types sacrifice.

Good luck! Is that Portland Int'l or pacific raceways? I have yet to get my car out this year, I need to make an effort for a T&T day. If I can get my "enhanced" driver license this week to cross the border we are supposed to head up to Mission for a pro street race, if not maybe I'll drag the Camaro down there this weekend.
