I'm looking to find someone that has a first gen with the engine and no headers installed. I guess there project car. I built a set of turbo headers and need to do a final trial mock up. I currently have long tube headers installed and in order to just do a quick test fit It's a pain to remove the header on the drivers side. Anyone around that could give me a hand? Shoop me a IM.

Thanks Marc

Hi Marc;

I live in Greenwich, but I'm on long island frequently. I guess I'm not exactly clear on how I can help... Are you looking for a first gen to mount up your custom headers to? My car is in the garage with the front suspension torn apart, but I do have stock manifolds with a chambered exhaust; pretty easy to unbolt the stock manifolds...car is not mobile for another week or so. please let me know if I can help you. Thanks.

Yea thats what needed. Just needed to mount my headers to see how they fit before final welding. Your pretty far though . Headers are in this thread. Thanks http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=159547

There are two different sets of engine and frame mounts for the small block. Actually three ! depending if it is a 67-68 or a 69. If this is going to be a once only thing, you are best off to use your own car. :)
