I bought this car 2 1/2 years ago and as many of us started tearing into it untill there was nothing else to take apart then started the assy. process piece by piece. I know I havn't posted a pic of every thing I've done with this car. I guess part of the reason is I own a bodyshop so some of the work to me is same ol same ol, I am proud to say the only things I didn't do myself was the machine work on the block & heads, the blasting of the shell of a body, the rear diff. & the seats ( in witch I'm sure I could've done just as good myself, the wrinkles will go away in the sun, Ya right).and the alighnment. I've driven the car a little over 100 miles and can't believe the heads turning, fingers pionting , I even had a guy follow me about 20 miles ,& when I pulleds into my mother-inlaws house he pulled in right behind me with his jaw dropped & could not believe I was driving a car this nice ,I told him they were meant to be driven. Here are some pics. of the car. The ones at the gas station show how big of a town this is that is one of the three operating gas stations, this one is on the busiest intersections in town (you can see it's a four way stop sign) & is still a full service station (for those who don't know what that is they pump your gas check your oil & other fluids wash the windshield & take your payment from your car) I will also when I get time compose a album because I have lots of pics. I think You can view theones I have on my photo bucket allbum, if not let me know what I have to do . http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z235/Madhatter68/?albumview=slideshow [ http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z235/Madhatter68/Camaro133.jpg

Car looks great - job well done. Something about head turning and finger pointing that's very rewarding especially when you did all the work.

What a great looking car, GREAT JOB!! I just got done looking at all of the pics.
Question, your rather small, happy looking employee with the pudgy fingers seems kind of lazy. Do you pay him in cookies? Im just sayin' :D

Nice!!!

I bet you never thought you would be done. Well...guess what, you never will be! There is always something that needs to be done so enjoy your first few hours of not needing any thing. :)

Kev I may be jinxing myself here , but there wasn't a piece of this car that wasn't rebuilt or replaced so I think I'm going to get more than a few hours of enjoyment before I need to fix something.

Just asking because my wife and I are both from Nebraska, and she's from a rather small town in the sticks, too. I've driven through many a town that look like yours in the picture.
