Are the new repro set of windlace and endcaps for a 67 Camaro any good??? My experience with the repro windlace for 69's are a Joke. I just found these on EBay

I hear the endcaps are incorrect as well (they have an open faced end on unlike the originals having a capped end)? You can send pics or info to Z11Weaver@verizon.net
Thanks,
Tom

I bought the endcaps from TrimParts and was very impressed with the quality.

Do they have the closed face on them like an original or are they open like all the other repops on the market?
Thanks,

I just got some door trim from Classic and it looks good. The brand is OER and its not as nice as original but they will do. They have the right finish but I haven't painted them gold yet.

What ever they were, they were identical to my originals. I'm very picky and was pleasantly pleased by these.

John I checked out TrimParts site and it looks like the ones on the site are open on the ends. They must be selling something different then they have pictured.
I also checked out the Classic site and found the end caps they have also look like they are open on the ends. I just got the set of the windlace and caps together and I know the caps are closed on the ends. Check out the links below.

That's the way mine are and the way my original were. When installed, that end comes together with the fuzzy and window "U" gasket in a way that makes it not very noticeable. IMO, you've got so much coming together in one spot that it is not noticeable. Further, you don't see it at all when the door is closed.
